Construction
On the outside main body of the cover we use UV resistant 600 denier
polyester cloth with interwoven PVC laminate fabric that will not fade, is
totally waterproof, mildew resistant and easy to
clean. This fabric is incredibly durable with high abrasion resistance and
tear strength. Polyester has proven to be more UV resistant and fade resistant
than nylon. Polyester has PVC
laminated into the cloth unlike coated nylon, which has polyurethane coatings
that peel off during use and washing. Two ergonomically correct handle
openings on the side make
for easy one-person transport. The inside liner is made from 400 denier rip
stop nylon to protect the beautiful finish on the cabinets and connections on
the back.
Protection
For added protection and padding we use a polyweave, 400 micron UV
stabilized bubble material dual-extruded onto a tear-resistant woven
polyethylene sheet. This combination of
materials forms a strong, durable layer that maintains its composure for easy
retrieval and storage of speaker. This additional barrier acts as an agent
against weather and everyday use.
